祈禱是我們跟天主交談，不論我們在何時何地，只要能專注、恭敬地表達心意，天父都會傾聽。耶穌說:「你們求，必要給你們；你們找，必要找着；你們敲，必要給你們開。」(瑪竇福音7:7)

聖號經是天主教祈禱的重要開始語。學生在祈禱前，需以右手劃十字聖號，並以專注、莊重的態度誦念，象徵以信德和恭敬的心進入祈禱。

天主經是耶穌親自教導門徒的祈禱文，是天主教最核心、最重要的祈禱之一。

 

我們的天父，願祢的名受顯揚；願祢的國來臨；願祢的旨意奉行在人間，如同在天上。
求祢今天賞給我們日用的食糧；求祢寬恕我們的罪過，如同我們寬恕別人一樣；不要讓我們陷於誘惑，但救我們免於凶惡。亞孟。
Our Father in heaven, holy be your name; your kingdom come; your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread; forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us; do not bring us to the test, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

萬福瑪利亞，妳充滿聖寵。主與妳同在。妳在婦女中受讚頌，妳的親子耶穌同受讚頌。

天主聖母瑪利亞，求妳現在和我們臨終時，為我們罪人祈求天主。亞孟。
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you. Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus.
